Philips RéAura Laser Skin Rejuvenation

The RéAura is yet another revolutionary product from the masterminds over at Philips Electricals. Designed to be an At Home, do it yourself laser skin treatment, the RéAura is a first, and therefore pioneering in not only the field of laser skin treatments, but in the beauty industry as a whole.

If you have ever wondered about laser skin treatment, but been apprehensive about going to a clinic, you can now do it yourself, at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. All that’s required is a quick consultation with either a Space NK representative, or a Philips skin care consultant, and you can start using the RéAura immediately, without the sometimes seemingly daunting process of booking an appointment at a skin clinic and paying astronomical prices each month for a course of treatments.

The RéAura has given results time after time. To see it in action, and to see the amazing results it can give, check out this blog, Glam Plus Forty. She documented her progress and I really couldn’t believe my eyes after the twelve week treatment!

The RéAura is a complete system. It comes with two gels, a laser performance complex which aids in the smooth gliding of the RéAura itself, plus bringing  moisture to the skin, and an aftercare balm containing chamomile and St. John’s Wort, known anti-inflammatories.

The RéAura can be purchased exclusively at many Space NK stores in the UK, for £799. For further information, check out Philips Online:

Philips Lumea Precision

Back last year when electrical giant Philips launched the Lumea IPL, it took the at-home hair removal market by storm. Gone were the hot wax treatments, the monotonous need to use wet shavers, and here finally was an inexpensive alternative to specialist beauty treatments that required you to leave the comfort of your home and fork out large amounts of £££s just to be hair-free for a few weeks.

The Philips Lumea was manner from heaven for those of us that tired of shaving every few days and wanted a permanent, pain-free hair removal solution.

I was given the opportunity last year to trial the Lumea upon it’s release, and had a huge amount of positive feedback from satisfied buyers. However, one thing stood out to me amongst the questions and comments I continually received – people wanted to know if it was safe and effective to use the Lumea on the face. At the time, this was not possible, as the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) that the Lumea transmitted was too strong for facial use.

Fast forward a year later, and Philips have answered their customers prayers, releasing the new improved Lumea Precision, this time with an added attachment making it safe to use on facial hair. Retailing at £449.99, the new Lumea Precision is the big sister of the original Lumea, yet still retains it’s original, easy to use design.

I receive (to this day!) many questions asking if the Lumea really works. I can happily say that yes, it does work, if you keep at it and follow the guidelines, you’ll be happy and hair free for months and months to come!

So if you put off purchasing the Lumea last year due to it not entirely meeting your needs, maybe now’s the time to rethink it!

The Philips Lumea Precision IPL Hair Removal System is available from Boots stores online and nationwide.
