And so, my current yen for anything remotely coral coloured continues!

Whilst browsing Debenhams online this morning, I decided I wanted two specific MAC items – Vegas Volt Amplified Creme lipstick and Something Special Cremeblend blush. Of course they both fall into the coral/peach camp, and this got me to thinking how many coral lip products I have in my collection. The answer? Not many! Whilst this discovery has justified my immediate purchasing of Vegas Volt(!) I was still quite saddened by my humble little collection of peach-toned lip lovelies. Alas, I thought I would share what I have with you!

I realise the pictures themselves show a cross breed of shades from seemingly hot reds to nudes to mink toned pink. However, when on the lips all of these transforming into pure coral/peach gems! Just like most men when asked about a colour, cameras fail to pick out the nuances!

I must state that my natural lip colour is decidedly pigmented so all of these transform into slightly deeper shades of themselves once applied.

L’Oreal’s Peach Creme (second from left) is a strange shade to capture. In the tube it looks mauve and swatched on my pale skin it looks decidedly pink, but on the lips it really is exactly as the name suggests – a bright creamy peach.

So there you have it, my humble little collection of coral-y peach lipsticks and glosses, just begging to be added to!
